Our church is involved in a wide variety of ministries designed to promote the Gospel while enjoying the fellowship of our friends in the church. Some of those ministries are listed below. If something has been left off, please contact the church office so we can get it included!
Sharon Springs Methodist Women - The Methodist Women are the backbone of any vital MC. Our women meet monthly for meetings and lessons. Among other activities, the SSMW hosts an annual Soup Supper each year to raise funds for mission work and local programs. The SSMW also hosts a Community Salad Luncheon in May - as many as 100 ladies from the area attend and enjoy great food and excellent entertainment. For many years, the MW has been the lead sponsoring organization for the Go With God weekend for high school girls. They also maintain the church kitchen, as well as a list of workers each month who are responsible for the serving of church dinners. The SSMW recently released a re-publication of the 1949 and 1986 cookbooks into one volume. These cookbooks sell for $20 each. Use the "Contact Us" page if you would like to order one. The SSMW meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 1:15 p.m. at the church.
Cleaning out your closet?  The SSMW are taking donations of gently worn clothing that will be taken to Goodwill.  The boxes for the donations are located near the west entrance door.  Thank you!
Sharon Springs Methodist Men - The SSMM meets once a month for food and fellowship. The SSMM are the sponsors for two ministries within the church - youth camping, and transportation. It is the goal of the SSMM to pay camping fees for any youth who participate in camps offered at Camp Lakeside at Scott Lake. Camping is a great summer activity for students, and the SSMM wants to make sure that anybody who would like to participate has their camping fees paid. The SSMM hosts a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast in February, and have also paid for church gatherings at Camp Lakeside in the past. SSMM meets on the 2nd Wednesday evening of each month. Times vary according to the season - please use the "Contact Us" page to receive more information.
